Came across this post by a fellow Multiply user.  His afterthought about the benefit (and I should think necessity) of preserving an active acknowledgement of the Jewish heritage behind the Christian faith is an issue that all Gentile believers need to carefully consider.  I have made some comments of my own in replying to his journal, as an emphasis to this view. Link Found this on a fellow Multiply user's site.  My colleagues had been ranting about it in company as well, with hate remarks like degoratory references to the man in question and judgment statements like the method of correction/punishment he deserves... This begs the question in our society - how far is one willing to go in life to be recognised by his or her peers in society, and weigh that desire against doing the right thing, governed by love for others above self. This attitude in the way we view ourselves should apply to everyone of us.

This thought only rescinded when I was offered a loan of the DVD by my colleague, and must say that I have been quite affected by the story based on that historical episode told through the protagonist 'Avner' the leader of the assassination squad despatched against the perpetrators of the kidnappings and killings of the Israeli Olympic athletes in 1972.
